Pablo did not have much money. English, Lesson 78. Part 2 Chapter 2
Pablo placed the frozen pizza on the bench.
Then, just as he was about to open the fridge.
To see what he could put on top of the pizza, he was now buying very cheap pizza bases lately.
Pablo was on a new budget, and the pizzas he was buying now with very cheap and cheerful.
Pablo did not have much money.
And he was also trying to save.
One day, he wanted to buy his own place, maybe a tiny apartment or a small house.
As much as he loved the city, Pablo wanted to move out.
He wanted to live somewhere where he had more space.
And he did not want to rely on landlords for the rest of his life.
Just as he was about to open the fridge to see what he could put on the pizza to make it more healthy, he got a text from Sharron.
“Hey Pablo, want to come to a party.”
“No,” Pablo replied
“LOL” Sharon replied, “not now.”
“When,” Pablo asked
Pablo was still in isolation for some time yet and not leaving the house until
the doctor said it was safe for him to be out and about.
“At the end of next month,” Sharon texted back with a 🙂 smiley face emoji.
“Ok, maybe,” Pablo replied
Pablo could not remember telling Sharon how long he was isolated, but he must have.
Sharron seemed to know precisely the time he would be able to go out.
Pablo would love to go to a party.
Pablo was desperately missing people and was trying not to overthink it.
He was also feeling a bit lonely now.
So he made a point of texting a few more friends and made time for calls with them tomorrow
and later in the week, so he felt better already.
