Pablo had to go to the doctor for a check-up as he had a cracked rib after his accident on the bike.
The doctor wanted to make sure it was healing and was not putting any pressure on his lungs, she had said.
She also said his ribs help protect the organs inside his chest so that his lungs can fill up with air.
Pablo’s breathing had been somewhat painful since he had a fractured rib.
Today was Friday, on Friday afternoon Pablo would often Silvia the old woman from the third floor up the stairs
with her groceries if the lift was not working
As Pablo was on the second floor, it was easy for him to go downstairs and help her.
He liked the old woman, and she had even given him some books in English to read.
He forgot to tell her might not be here to help her on Friday afternoon.
