Melbourne Silicon Beach is one of the largest and fastest growing startup communities in Australia. Our mission is to empower startups through education, industry access and uphold communal support from like-minded people.
We are a diverse bunch covering all ages, backgrounds and first point of call for newcomers to Melbourne. Dubbed as one of the “Most Active Groups in Meetup” in the world, Melbourne Silicon Beach connects you to one of the largest tech ecosystems in the world. Our community of 6,000+ members consisting of startup and tech founders, freelancers, entrepreneurs, coders and professionals in the tech industry.
Monthly Pitch and Drinks Night
Our regular monthly MSB Drinks meetup happens on the first Thursday night of every month (except January).
They usually attract around 100 – 150 Silicon Beachers. They are FREE networking events purposely kept very unstructured so that our members can chat and get to know each other over drinks. The 90-second pitch segment is where anyone is encouraged to pitch their idea, startup, app or whatever. This is an excellent way to get used to pitching and get feedback from like-minded peers.
We also live stream this segment which garners interest worldwide.
