Caremonkey wins €650,000 at prestigious startup conference

In a major win for the Australian startup community, Melbourne-based healthtech startup, CareMonkey, won the grand prize of € 650,000 in the Slush 2015 Pitching competition. The prestigious competition took place in Helsinki, Finland with over 15,000 people in attendance.

CareMonkey, which was founded in 2011, has created a health, safety and productivity solution for families, schools, clubs, businesses, community service organisations and other groups with a duty of care, and has over 100,000 users.

Troy Westley, CareMonkey CEO, states: “We are absolutely thrilled to have won! This prize is a validation for the whole team that we are working on a product that has real potential to grow, and help many more organisations better manage their duty of care.” read Caremonkey
