Yes, Pablo texted her back.
Then he called Sharron and told her what the doctor had said
about him having to stay in isolation for the next few weeks.
Sharron was very worried.
She said she was very concerned.
That was a new word he also knew.
Concerned.
He knew when someone was concerned that they were anxious.
Or worried like someone who was troubled by something.
Sharron said she would come by later in the week and drop of a care package.
Pablo was not sure what was a care package?
Sharron said he could call her any time, and Sharron also said, “call me if you ever want to chat or just send me a text, and I will call you straight back.”
“Is there someone else you’d rather talk to?” Sharron also asked.
“No,” Pablo said, and he laughed.
He liked talking to Sharron, and he had other friends he could talk to,
but Pablo promised to call and message her any time
he wanted to speak with someone.
