In the Technology pages we learn more about 3D Printing, with Joe Carmody who is the founder of 3D printing solutions company evok3d. There is no shortage of new technology to amaze and confound us, but the advent of 3D printing is something that captures everyone’s imagination. Joe explains that 3D printing is not just a concept on a screen; it truly brings technology to life.

The Travel destination this time around is southern Cambodia. Genine Spicer transports us with The Charm of Champa, a peaceful farming area that is also the home of the famous (in gastronomy circles) Kampot peppercorns. Genine’s descriptions of Champa Lodge’s open-air bar and restaurant, rural surroundings and the serenity of river kayaking will leave you inspired to visit.

In this issue’s Feature Tim Kroenert reviews the Australian movie Healing. Starring Hugo Weaving, Don Hany and Tony Martin, Healing is directed by Craig Monahan and explores a program run by a wildlife sanctuary and a prison, in which inmates nurse injured birds back to health. The impact of the work on personalities from both sides is interesting and thought-provoking.

In Focus contributor Geraldine Coy writes about authentic leadership and honesty in My Brave Truth Story. Geraldine’s recently-released book Brave Truth talks about why she and her family left post-Apartheid South Africa, and of their struggle for truth. In this article, Geraldine examines how these issues transcend cultures and economies, and what she is doing to help address them.
